Introduction
Little Home Of Prints is an online print shop specialising in horse racing prints, personalised digital artwork, wall art, portraits, clothing and bespoke print-based gifts.
Unlike a standard managed website build, this project focused on improving an existing Shopify store. The goal was to work with the strengths of a default Shopify theme while shaping the design so it felt more specific to the Little Home Of Prints brand.
- Shopify theme adjustments to better match the logo, colours and visual identity.
- More consistent product image sizing across collection and featured-product layouts.
- Clearer presentation of product categories, from horse racing prints to portraits, merch and wall art.
Challenge
Shopify themes are built to be flexible, but a default setup can quickly feel generic if the brand styling, product imagery and layout rules are not refined.
Little Home Of Prints has a broad product range, so the storefront needed to feel organised without losing personality. Product cards had to sit together neatly, image sizing needed to feel consistent, and the overall design needed to support quick browsing across print collections, personalised gifts and custom artwork.
The challenge was to improve the store without overcomplicating it. The site still needed to feel easy to manage inside Shopify, while looking more polished and more connected to the brand.
Solution
sight.design worked within the Shopify theme structure, refining the visual presentation rather than replacing the platform. The design was adjusted around the Little Home Of Prints logo and brand colours, helping the storefront feel more intentional from the header through to collection areas and calls to action.
Product presentation was a key focus. Consistent sizing and spacing helped the product grid feel calmer and easier to scan, which is especially important for a shop where artwork, print formats and product variations need to be compared quickly.
The store structure also supports clearer browsing, with product categories and featured areas arranged to help customers move naturally between horse racing prints, personalised artwork, clothing, portraits, wall art and school or business print services.
Result
The finished Shopify refinement gives Little Home Of Prints a more cohesive online shop while keeping the practicality of Shopify behind the scenes.
The design feels closer to the brand, product areas sit together more consistently, and customers get a clearer route from browsing collections to choosing a print, gift or custom artwork option.
For sight.design, the project is a useful example of design support that does not always mean starting again. Sometimes the right work is careful theme refinement: improving what is already there, making the brand feel stronger, and helping the store present its products with more confidence.
